Watch: Construction work of ‘Pamban Rail Bridge’ underway in Ramanathapuram
Construction work of the new “Pamban Rail Bridge” is underway in Tamil Nadu’s Ramanathapuram district. The work had started on 8th Nov, 2019 and is expected to be completed within the next 2 years. The foundation stone for the Pamban Rail Bridge was laid by PM Narendra Modi. The new 2.05 km long Pamban bridge, which will be connecting Mandapam on the mainland and Rameswaram at the Pamban island, will have the country’s very first vertical launch rail section.
