IPL 2017: Virat Kohli apologises to fans for Royal Challengers Bangalore's poor performance!

Kohli tweeted an emotional message to fans thanking them for their unconditional love and support.

Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli took to Twitter on Sunday night to apologise to the fans for the abysmal performance of the team in the tenth edition of Indian Premier League.

RCB lost to KKR by six wickets on the home ground of M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Kohli in his tweeted thanked fans of the Bengaluru team for their unconditional love and support throughout the tournament.

Kohli & Co lost to KKR on April 23 after putting up the lowest score in IPL history. The team that comprises of the big hitters and allrounders like AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle etc. was bundled out for 49. Since then the team failed to win even a single game and Sunday's loss was 10th in the 13 matches so far.

But the trouble began for RCB even before the beginning of the tenth season of cash-rich event. Kohli had to miss first two games owing to his shoulder injury and so did AB de Villiers. KL Rahul was ruled out of the season over his shoulder surgery. Sarfaraz Khan sustained an injury during the practice session before RCB's season opener showdown against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

RCB will next play Delhi Daredevils on May 14 at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium.
