Many fans have for a long time wished for Indian skipper Virat Kohli to play alongside former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in Chennai Super Kings' yellow. Even though their wish has remained unfulfilled thus far, the micro-blogging site Twitter fulfilled their wish in their own unique way, which in the end proved to be a goof-up from their side.

On Saturday, like every year Twitter released emojis for each of the eight IPL franchises which will appear with particular hashtags if every team. So, for Chennai Super Kings #CSK is followed by a yellow jersey emoji and likewise for every team, their hashtag is followed by an emoji of the jersey of the colour of their kits.

However, for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, all their three hashtags - #RCB, #PlayBold and #WeAreChallengers - were followed by the emojis of the yellow coloured jersey of Chennai Super Kings. As soon as this was noticed by a user, the netizens went into frenzy.

While many users dressed Kohli in Chennai Super Kings jersey, the Chennai Super Kings social media team too took a cheeky dig at Twitter and RCB saying all are covered in 'Yellove'. Many fans took a dig at RCB saying they are doing every possible attempt to win a trophy this year while some of them asked Twitter to change it as soon as possible.
