Delhi Capitals are staring at a massive loss in IPL 2020 as their star wicketkeeper, Rishabh Pant, could potentially be ruled out of the entire tournament due to a hamstring injury. According to a report in PTI, Rishabh Pant has apparently sustained a Grade one hamstring tear and that could rule him out for a period of 10-14 days. In Rishabh Pant’s absence, Delhi Capitals are thinking about getting Lalit Yadav in the team for the clash against Rajasthan Royals that will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The PTI report further stressed that according to sources close to the development said the Delhi Capitals medical staff have submitted the report to the BCCI medical team. The reason is because since Rishabh Pant is a centrally-contracted player of the BCCI, the medical report has to be submitted to the BCCI according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
