About five months prior to the Assembly elections in the state, the visit of the national president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Amit Shah to Jaipur will be very important. Shah is coming to Jaipur on July 21 to review the state BJP’s one year works. He will address the BJP state working committee’s meeting at Totuka Bhawan located near Narayan Singh Circle on July 21.
Shah had come to Jaipur on July 21-23, last year and back then, he had met the party office bearers, public representatives and representatives of various social and religious organisations. During his visit last year, the BJP national president had given the aim of ‘invincible booth-invincible BJP’ to the state BJP for the Assembly polls. Shah had, last year said, that by October 2017, the BJP will be made ‘invincible’ in Rajasthan. However, this announcement could not be fulfilled as the BJP had to face defeats in the by elections held for two Lok Sabha and one Assembly seats in February 2018.
Now the Assembly elections will be held in December in the state and thus, the proposed visit of Shah on July 21 holds a lot of significance. He will review the activities of the organisation undertaken since the past one year and will set some goals regarding the upcoming elections. He is expected to discuss the party’s electoral strategy for the upcoming polls.
Shah will reach Jaipur from New Delhi on July 21 at 10 am. He will first address the concluding session of the State Working Committee. The two-day meeting of BJP State Working Committee will be held on July 20-21 at Totuka Bhawan. The meeting of the Working Committee will include all the BJP MLAs, MPs, Ministers, District Presidents, members of other frontal organisations including BJYUM, Mahila Morcha, ST Morcha, SC Morcha, state office bearers and other special invitees.
After the meeting of the working committee, Shah will address the Social Media Volunteers’ Workshop. This workshop will be held at Raj Mandir Theater. Shah will then reach the state party headquarters from Raj Mandir and will take various organisational meetings here.
