The BJP national president Amit Shah will be on a one-day tour of Jaipur on September 11, during which he will address four major conferences organized by the party. It will be Shah’s third visit to the state within 50 days. With assembly elections just three months away, Shah’s visit will have important implications. During his last visit to the state, Shah also visited Charbhuja Ji temple in Rajsamand on August 4 and flagged off the chief minister’s Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra, that officially sounded the poll bugle.

As Shah will be overseeing the party’s strategy for the state assembly elections, he will now be a frequent flyer in Rajasthan. Shah is looking to consolidate support base by holding interaction with different sections of the society and the party workers.

In the meeting of the BJP State Work Committee held on July 22-23, organisational programmes to be held in two-month time frame were decided and that also included conference of heads of the party’s Shakti Kendra unit in all the seven divisions. Shah had said to be a part of it and keeping to the plan, the BJP will organise a conference of heads of Shakti Kendra units of the Jaipur division on September 11.

“Amit Shah will come to Jaipur from Delhi on September 11 and address four major conferences. Shah’s first programme will be organised at SMS Investment Ground located near Ambedkar Circle. Shah will address the heads of BJP’s Shakti Kendra unit. This programme will include about 5,000 workers of Shakti Kendra unit of the Jaipur division,” said state BJP president Madan Lal Saini.
