The leader, in collaboration with several Congress workers, demonstrated agitation in 16 areas of the city by burning the effigies of chief minister Vasundhara Raje and education minister Vasudev Devnani, on Wednesday.

Taking a jibe on BJP govt on fee hike, Jaipur Congress president, Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, accused the state government of being hand-in-glove with the private schools. “Rajasthan government has joined hands with the private schools to promote corruption. Several state-based students and their parents have to bear the brunt of the collaboration. The essentials like food and petrol have already become expensive due to inflation, and the unreasonable hike in the fees is just hitting the pockets all the more,” Khachariyawas said.

The leader, in collaboration with several Congress workers, demonstrated agitation in 16 areas of the city by burning the effigies of chief minister Vasundhara Raje and education minister Vasudev Devnani, on Wednesday. The effigies were burnt in areas including Collectorate circle, Sanganer Airport, Ramganj, Jagatpura, and Malviya Nagar, among others.

“The government should immediately issue directives regarding those schools who have increased their fees without justification,” he added. This agitation was a part of the state-wide campaign ‘Fees Ghatao, Bachpan Bachao,’ initiated by the party.
