Pilot will ask Raje questions each day till she completes her 40-day long ‘Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra’ starting from Saturday at Charbhuja Nath Temple, Rajsamand.

Following in the footsteps of Congress president Rahul Gandhi, PCC chief  Sachin Pilot has decided to pose questions to chief minister Vasundhara Raje on issues concerning public, a task that he feels the CM has miserably failed to accomplish. Pilot will ask Raje questions each day till she completes her 40-day  long ‘Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra’ starting from Saturday at Charbhuja Nath Temple, Rajsamand.

“Tell me one area where she has excelled and made Rajasthan proud? Out of 620 poll promises, how many have been fulfilled till date? CM should take out a ‘Jawabdehi Yatra’ instead of the ‘Gaurav Yatra’ I have decided to ask her every day a question till she completes her yatra. She must respond to the questions. The government in her rule so far did not reply to us, be it in the state assembly or to our protests,” said Pilot to the scribes. A day prior to the yatra, he asked Raje as to why her government has ordered PWD department to make arrangements for the yatra using public money while the home minister Gulab Chand Kataria declared this as a party event. It is worth mentioning that in 2017 when Gandhi was campaigning for Gujarat assembly election, he adopted the same strategy and asked 22 questions to prime minister Narendra Modi. The 22 questions asked were directed on each year the saffron party ruled in Gujarat.

Moreover, Pilot also accused Raje for shielding his ministers and MLAs who openly made controversial statements on mob-lynching to divide the society. “Why Raje does not take action against her MLA Gyandev Ahuja on his bitter statement. Also, a union minister also stated that incidents of mob-lynching will rise as the popularity of Modi grows. Why is she silent,” said he. Asked under whose leadership the party will fight assembly election in Rajasthan, Pilot said that the party would fight election under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership.

Farmers Suffering

Pilot also slammed CM Raje for not addressing farmers’ issues. “Hundreds of farmers have committed suicide under the BJP rule. Their issues were not addressed,” he said.
