State’s museums and monuments run by the department of archeology will remain closed on Friday - the day of polling.

The general administration department had declared holiday on December 7, as such the tourists will not be able to see Amber Fort, Albert Hall, Hawa Mahal and other monuments of department of archaeology in other cities in the state will also remain closed.

Apart from this, large number of institutions, business establishments and shops will also remain closed due to polling so that the people can come out and vote in large number.

However, movie halls are expected to remain open though the staff working there will be going to cast their vote. Banks will also remain closed and this will be a long weekend for the bankers. While banks will be closed on Friday due to voting day and being second Saturday the banks will be closed. The banks will now open on Monday.
