Taking lessons from the defeat in the assembly elections of five states, which concluded recently, the BJP has now planned to woo the farmers’ vote bank. The saffron party will organise various programs of farmers across the country before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The BJP will hold “Kisan Kumbh “ at two and a half lakh Panchayat Samitis and more than seven thousand Krishi Mandis of the country. Through the Kisan Kumbh, the BJP will do branding of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will make the farmers pledge to make Modi prime minister once again.
In the assembly elections of five states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, the BJP had to face defeat. Congress had announced to waive off farmers’ loan during campaigning for the assembly elections. BJP has entrusted the task of targeting the Kisan Vote Bank by Kisan Morcha and has scheduled a two-month program for it. BJP Kisan Morcha will organise farmers’ programs throughout the country in January and February.
