The police were informed which immediately initiated efforts to locate the bomb and rushed bomb squad and dog squad to the station mentioned in the mail, however, after a thorough search it was found that the information was not right. The police continued their search for the source of the mail and on Wednesday afternoon, nabbed a man in this connection. Interestingly, the man is a former Metro employee who sent the mail as he wanted to teach certain metro officials a lesson for removing him.

The arrested youth has been identified as one Nitesh Agarwal, a native of Peeplu in Tonk district of the state. “Late in the night, the mail was received which was shared by the metro authorities with the Jaipur Commissionerate police and immediately we formed a team that started searching for the origin point of the mail. Meanwhile, the mail mentioned that the bomb had been planted at the Mansarovar metro station and the area was cordoned off. Bomb disposal squad and dog squad were rushed to the spot which started searching for the bomb in the premises.
