Rajasthan Handicrafts Fest begins today

This time the theme of the fair will be based on Start Up India, Stand Up India and the plans of the Central and the State Government.

The Western Rajasthan Industry Handicrafts Festival will be held between January 5-14 in Ravan ka Chabutra Ground. This time the theme of the fair will be based on Start Up India, Stand Up India and the plans of the Central and the State Government.

Rajsiko president and fair organiser Meghraj Lohia told that the festival will be duly inaugurated on 5 January at 5 pm by the State Industry Minister, Rajpal Singh Shekhawat. This time the special attraction of the festival will be the spice fair organised by the Ministry of Cooperation.

Vijayaraje Scindia Central dome has been made to make the festival attractive. Excellent artifacts of traditional art, old musical instruments, paintings, metal, wood and stone will be kept there. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay seminar and cultural programme dome has also been constructed. Seminars and workshops will be organised on Startup India, Stand Up India,  Skills Development, E-Way Bill and GST Refund topics.

Kailash Kher night on January 9 and National Level Kavi Sammelan will be organised on January 11 in the cultural programmes. While on other days, folk artists of Rajasthan will be performing  their art. 650 stalls have been created with special domes. Special arrangements have also been made for the security and fire fighting.
