Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria has provided the facility of the interceptor and modern machines to make the state’s traffic department modern and strong. On the other hand, the Abhay Command Centre was also inaugurated in the police headquarters.

Efforts are being made by the police for many years to stop the accidents in the state and empower the traffic fleet. To help the cause, the department had purchased Interceptor, Speed Laser Gun and Breath Analyzer, which were distributed on Wednesday. In order to control overspeeding in the state, the police department has presented 20 interceptors to 18 districts along with speed laser guns to 5 districts. Apart from this, motorcycles have been given to police officials for 14 districts. Kataria flagged off the vehicles from the police headquarters for all the districts.

Along with this, Abhay Command Centre has been inaugurated in Jaipur after setting up the centre in all the divisions of the state. After the inauguration, Kataria took information about the methodology and functioning of the centre. The Home Minister also watched live photos of cities 

While thanking the Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for making several announcements for the police department in the budget, Minister Kataria said, “Crime can be restrained by the teamwork of the whole police department.”

Kataria also expressed his concern about the rising road accidents and said, “About 10 thousand people in the state are dying due to road accidents every year.”
