Rajasthan shooter Anantjeet Singh Naruka created a milestone on Tuesday when he scored 75 out of 75 in the shotgun trials going on at the Jagatpura shooting range. With such a score, he has left behind Olympian and world champion Meraz Khan, Siraz Shaikh, Amarinder Singh Cheema and Man Singh. Naruka made this score in shotgun (skeet) category.
At the Jagatpura shooting range, trials of the shotgun in skeet and trap are being organised from Monday. On the first day of the second trial held on Tuesday, 3 -3 rounds each of skeet senior and junior men and girls category were organised and now on Wednesday, remaining events of 2 rounds and finals will be conducted. This is, however, not the first time that Naruka has performed so well in any shooting championship.
The spectators cannot forget his performance in 2015 when he had become the national champion in skeet which was held in Jaipur.
That time, he had defeated Angad Veer Singh Bajwa in December 2015. Notably, he was a class 12 student that time and since then, he has continued to garnish his shooting skills and this was visible on Tuesday when he scored all the 75 points. In the recently concluded Khelo India games at Pune too, Naruka showed splendid performance and had won the silver medal.
Giving the information, Shashank Kaurani, secretary of Rajasthan Rifle Association informed that an interesting competition was seen with the shooters like Anantjeet Singh Naruka, Mehraz Ahmed Khan, Mohammed Siraz Sheikh, Amrinder Singh Cheema, Man Singh, Sukhvinder Singh Harika and Gurjot Singh.

Shooters like Sarveshwari Kumari and Maheshwari Chauhan also gave excellent performance and the people present enjoyed every moment watching the interesting shooting championship at Jagatpura shooting range.
