Danube, the second largest river of Europe after Volga, is going to meet with Ghaggar’s water in Sriganganagar of Rajasthan where first ‘International Film Festival of Sriganganagar (IFFS)’ is going to be held next month and Hungary will be the ‘country in focus’ of the festival. Though, there are a couple of film festivals, being organised as yearly events in Jaipur, this would be the very first time when any city other than the state capital will witness such a film festival where films from across the globe would be screened.
“The festival will be organised from January 19 to 23. This would be the first edition of the festival and it will be organized every year,” Dr Dushyant, writer, lyricist and founder director of IFFS said. “During the five-day event films, short films and documentaries from various countries will be screened. The festival will also witness participation of renowned film makers from across the world and budding film makers would get a chance to learn from them about film making in a workshop and a seminar on documentary film making,” he added.
As per organisers The purpose of IFFS is to promote new movie makers, exchange of knowledge.
