According to BJP sources in Jaipur, PM Modi addressed 12 public meetings in Rajasthan in the last Assembly elections

The BJP in Rajasthan is going to reduce the number of public meetings held by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the state Assembly elections this year. PM Modi is set to address public meetings in the state during the last leg of campaigning, i.e. the last 15 days of campaigning. However, another BJP star campaigner Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is likely to address 15 to 20 public meetings this time.

According to BJP sources in Jaipur, PM Modi addressed 12 public meetings in Rajasthan in the last Assembly elections.

Rajasthan will go to polls in the last phase of Assembly elections scheduled to be held in five states. The PM is likely to address and motivate people of the four other states before he comes to Rajasthan.

It may be recalled that the PM had addressed a public meeting in Ajmer on October 6, the meet marked the concluding ceremony of chief minister Vasundhara Raje's Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra.

Apart from PM Modi, the BJP also plans to send other leaders to the state for poll campaigning. BJP national president Amit Shah, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and others are some of the other campaigners the party is pushing for.

The BJP can encash Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath's image of Hindutva in Rajasthan. Sources said, BJP is planning to hold 15-20 public meetings of Adityanath. His public meetings are under consideration for Kota, Shekhawati, Bhilwara and Bharatpur.

In Rajasthan, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is the face of the party and therefore the Central party leadership wants that Raje should address more and more public meetings in state. According to sources, the party is planning to organise over 100 public meetings of the CM.
