Vasundhara Raje anchors PM Narendra Modi event in a sell-out Jaipur show

The beneficiaries of schemes like PM Awas Yojna, medical scheme, Rajshree Yojna, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme were seen praising the schemes and thanking Modi in the video.

The chants of ‘Modi, Modi’ rang lound and clear as chief minister Vasundhara Raje took to the stand to begin her address at the rally. The frenzied crowd was made up of youth and beneficiaries who were keen to hear Modi speak.

Gradually the sloganeering subsided. Raje started her address by welcoming the prime minister and the dignitaries on stage and then went on to elaborate how the central and state schemes were benefiting the people. She explained how in an effort to ensure welfare of the people of the state, BJP government launched housing scheme that is changing several lives. She accused the Congress of not working for the masses, but only for a few people. 

A series of audio-visual documentaries involving the beneficiaries were played out as Raje explained each scheme funded by the Centre and the state governments. The beneficiaries of schemes like PM Awas Yojna, medical scheme, Rajshree Yojna, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme were seen praising the schemes and thanking Modi in the video.

Today in Rajasthan 32 lakh families are taking benefit of Ujjwala Yojana, said Raje. The Palanhaar Yojana for the orphans was a boon for two lakh children, said Raje and narrated the story of a woman in Bikaner via video clip.

She made a strong case for the schemes launched during her tenure. While talking about Bhamashah Scheme that seeks financial inclusion of women, Raje said 22 lakh people have availed free medicine and free treatment.

Private hospitals like Fortis, Gitanjali and Narayana hospitals too are providing treatment to the Bhamashah beneficiaries in association with the state government. 

Raje made it a point to thank her team, especially the cabinet and the elected representatives for living up to the expectations of the people. Even PM Modi lavished praise on the flawless organisation of the event on his Twitter handle. A dedicated team of bureaucrats and the Chief Minister’s Office was involved in minute-to-minute planning of the PM’s visit. Secretary to the CM, Tanmay Kumar and principal OSD Arijit Banerjee were the backroom boys who orchestrated the event successfully.
