Rajyavardhan Rathore has done it again. The Union minister of sports and youth affairs who has a penchant for stepping off the high horse of sarkari amla (government machinery), and bracing the normal, is back with his winsome ways. This time, he has managed to floor the sportspersons representing India at the ongoing Asian Games.

A photo of the Union minister, who represents the Jaipur rural constituency in the parliament, has gone viral on the twitter. In the picture, Rathore dressed in a formal suit is seen serving tea to a surprised Indian contingent at Jakarta. The Indian coach is also seated next to his team at what looks like the dining hall for the participating sportspersons.

The simple gesture by Rathore has been appreciated by the Twitterati. In one of the tweets, by @swamijitweets, Rathore is appreciated for his humility. “Shri @Ra_THORe, you serving tea to members of Indian squad is really an humble gesture of camaraderie.... by a sportsman even after becoming a minister..! Loved it..!

This is not the first time Rathore has stepped out of the ministerial mode. In the Asian Games he expressed his sheer joy of being able to felicitate the gold medal to Indian Tajinder Singh who did the nation proud in the shot put event. He tweeted: A proud moment for the nation as @Tajinder_Singh3 was awarded his Gold medal for Shot Put at #AsianGames2018! A doubly proud moment for me, for having the honor of felicitating the champion :) #KheloIndia #IndiaAtAsianGames.

And, this is not all. In one of his recent endeavours Rathore started the Fit India challenge that trended for a while with sportspersons and celebrities taking the challenge and inviting their friends over to do the same.
