The Indian National Trust for Art Culture and Heritage (Intach) and the Rotaract Club of Pune, Shaniwarwada, have organised the seventh edition of ‘Discover Pune’ on Sunday, an event to promote the heritage of the city.
‘Discover Pune’ is a unique treasure hunt that includes deciphering cryptic texts, looking for places shown in pictures, finding them with the help of clues, mapping routes and finally reaching the destination.
It takes participants through Pune’s roads and lanes and helps them discover Pune right from the period of Rashtrakutas to the Peshwas, the British and finally to modern icons. The clues include question-answers and puzzles.
Roaming around the city provides the citizens with an opportunity to take a closer look at this historic treasure. The event, being held for the past six years, starts from Shaniwarwada and covers the length and width of the city. There are many prizes to be won. For registration, visit http://discoverpune.rcshaniwarwada.org or contact Madhur on 9764001403. The event is open to all.
