The wonder footage of pandas having sex for an unusually long time is set to be distributed around the world in a bid to boost breeding among the species.
The footage, showing pandas Lulu and Zhen Zhen managed to have sex for an incredible 8 minutes – compared to the usual 30 seconds, has so blown experts away that it's being used in new sex education materials for other pandas, the Daily Star reported.
It's hoped playing the video to other pandas will encourage them to get it on too, as the black and white animals are notoriously poor at breeding, putting their future in danger. The mammoth eight-minute session has got experts at the Sichuan Giant Panda Centre scratching their heads.
