Whether or not you’re experiencing a Jupiter return year, here is heartening news for everybody —that the Jupiter effect is present at every stage in one’s life in some area of one’s life or the other.

In astrological terms every human being experiences the return of the ‘fortune’ planet Jupiter to their sun sign approximately once in 12 years. This is considered a particularly lucky year when a new growth cycle commences with the accompaniment of wealth and worldly success, opening  up new  vistas of joyful experience.

Says astrologer Bejan Daruwalla, “Jupiter is currently in Pisces and Pisceans can expect all around growth and prosperity during 2010. Jupiter is also the planet of expansion and that means not just mental, emotional and spiritual expansion but it could also mean physical expansion and weight gain as well.”

However, be warned that there is also a downside to it. As Bejan says, “The Jupiter return can make people so optimistic so as to lose sight of reality. With the result they may overreach themselves and end up coming a cropper.”

Crystal ball gazer Larra Shah puts it in a different perspective.
“Jupiter brings with it mental positivity and intelligence which allows a person experiencing a Jupiter return to make the most of the opportunities available.  It is a time when one will be able to absorb knowledge or impart it easily, which is one of its positive attributes. Jupiter is the largest and most generous planet and brings the capability to be generous on the part of the person experiencing its direct affect.”

She adds a rider though, that the Jupiter return isn’t ‘magic’. “It usually requires that the individual be pro-active enough to be alert enough to make the most of opportunities that come her or his way.”

Numerologist Bhavikk Sanghavi sees the Jupiter return as a magnificent opportunity to accumulate wealth. “It is extremely auspicious for one’s financial position which goes up through being able to make the most of your capabilities,” he says. He adds that the best time to maximise the effects of a Jupiter return in regards to personal wealth is during one’s mid 30s and 40s. “Before that, one is usually a student and after that during one’s 50s, one is often looking at making one’s professional retirement secure.”
