David Arquette denies rumours of rekindling marriage with Courteney Cox

The couple had separated after their 11th anniversary last June, but h ave both admitted they are open to reconciling if they eventually decide that is what's best for them and their nearly seven-year-old daughter, Coco.

David Arquette has denied that he is back with estranged wife Courteney Cox after photographers caught them out together recently.

“Although Courteney and I spent Memorial day together as a family and she was so sweet and supportive of me by coming to see David Arquette Presents Beacher's Madhouse last night,” the New York Post quoted him as tweeting.

"We are not back together as a couple but remain family and dear friends,” he added.

Arquette, 39, explained that he had “to write that because the paparazi [sic] are hounding me with questions and I want to be clear.”

The Scream star and Cox, 46, had separated after their 11th anniversary last June, but have both admitted they are open to reconciling if they eventually decide that is what's best for them and their nearly seven-year-old daughter, Coco.

"If we were to get back together, we would make a public statement," Arquette wrote on his Twitter page.

“Trust me I'm as sick as a lot of you are about discussing my personal life publicly,but I also don't like tabloids writing,” he added.
