Divine spark inherent in each of us: Hrishita Bhatt

Being spiritual has been the only way and means of living. It’s my source of strength. Spirituality is oxygen for my soul. It means connecting to the God or what we call the higher/inner self. It has been a part of my life forever, and I cannot imagine existing without it.

I believe in the One power and source. Forms and paths are many, but the essence and aim is one and the same. Spirituality is simply recognising that divine spark/essence which each one of has inherent in us. The more you learn and grow and evolve in consciousness the more the divine spark unfolds and as you recognise it and act in oneness with it you experience something called cosmic consciousness. At every stage of my life I found a new teacher the greatest one being life itself. Every path/guru/system/guide in spirituality first teaches us to connect to the God within us, that which is our true guide or guru, through prayer and meditation and of course through awareness and knowledge. I believe it has to be constantly active in your thoughts, words and deeds.

The only way to lead a true spiritual life is to constantly tap into that creative force and energy of your higher self even for your daily mundane living. Only the perception of God/light/power changes with each new experience. I have learnt many lessons, some through mistakes and some through experience. Life is a school and the learning never stops.
