Lakshmi puja is one of the most important rituals of Diwali celebrations and here's all the information you need about the shubh muhurat.

The festival of lights - Diwali, is one of the biggest and most auspicious festivals celebrated by Hindus across the world. The festival symbolizes peace and bliss, the victory of good over evil, and light over darkness every day. It is one of the most symbolic Hindu festivals, and all communities in the country celebrate it with great fanfare. 

During the festival, people clean their homes, decorate every corner with lights, lamps, lamps, flowers, rangoli and candles. Hindus worship Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha for health, prosperity, wealth and happiness. Goddess Kali and Lord Kuber are also worshipped on this day.

Lakshmi puja is one of the most important rituals of Diwali celebrations. People pray to the goddess of wealth on this day to seek her blessings for health, wealth and prosperity.

According to Drik Panchang, the auspicious time of Lakshmi Puja will start at 6:09 pm and will remain at 8:04 pm. The duration will be 1 hour 56 minutes.

Diwali 2021 Lakshmi Puja shubh Muhurat

  • Lakshmi Puja Muhurat: 06:09 pm to 08:04 pm

Though the Ravi Yoga will not prevail today, the timing for Abhijit Muhurat is from 11:42 AM to 12:26 PM. The timings of Brahma and Godhuli Muhurat is from 04:51 AM to 05:43 AM & from 05:22 PM to 05:46 PM. On the day of Diwali, the Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga will remain in effect from 05:33 PM to 06:52 PM, while the Nishita Muhurta will fall between 01:54 PM and 02:38 PM.

On Diwali, Amavasya Tithi begins on November 4, 2021, at 6:03 am, and ends at 2:44 am on November 5, 2021.

Diwali Lakshmi Puja Vidhi

The north direction of the house is considered to be the direction of Mata Lakshmi. Put a wooden plank there and spread a red cloth on it. After this, Mata Lakshmi, Kuber Dev, Ganeshji should be placed there. Offer them Akshat i.e. white rice. Offer roli, mouli, rice and incense sticks in front of them. Along with this, light 3 diyas there.

After this, first of all, sanctify by taking a red rose or yellow marigold flower. Then light a lamp of pure ghee in front of God. Chant the mantra of Ganesh ji - Om Gana Ganapate Namah or Om Shree Ganeshaya Nama. After this  - chant Shri Mahalakshmi Nam or Om Deep Shrilakshmi Nam 108 times. Then you will take akshat, red rose, Gangajal and pray in front of Goddess Lakshmi.
