dna Global Education seminar starts off with a bang

dna has kicked started the Global Education seminar, a series of workshops on overseas education sponsored by Bank of India. The first seminar was held at ML Dahanukar College, Mumbai on November 26, 2013. The aim of the workshop was to help aspirants with the admission and application process, scholarships and bursaries, popular and new courses, and work experience, which has become a crucial requirement for a person wanting to go abroad for further studies. Alisha Mashruwala, overseas education counsellor; Neha Sarwal,academic head, IMS; MV Shah, chief manager, Bank of India; Jessica Kania, foreign service officer, US Consulate; Preeti Prabhu,trade commissioner, Consulate General of Canada and Abir Das, former student, University of Manchester and Imperial College London were the speakers at the workshop.

A lively question and answer session followed where in Mashruwala cleared specific question posed by students and parents present. In the coming days, dna will hold similar workshops at SVKM, Santokba Hall; Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Management; KJ Somaiya College Of Science And Commerce; Jai Hind College; SIES College of Management Studies.
