Acqua di Cristallo Tributo a Modigliani is the world's most expensive bottled water, designed as a tribute to Italian artist Amadeo Modigliani's sculpture.

Nita Ambani is a renowned philanthropist and the chairperson of Reliance Foundation. She's known for her active involvement in various social initiatives, education, healthcare, and rural development. Her contributions extend to art, sports, and cultural enrichment, making her a prominent figure in both business and charitable endeavors. A manipulated photo of Nita Ambani, Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, has surfaced on social media platforms, falsely asserting that she consumes the world's priciest bottled water, Acqua di Cristallo Tributo a Modigliani. The doctored image, often shared alongside either Ambani's picture or the product, has been debunked.

The original photo from 2015 captures Ambani at an IPL cricket match, seen sipping from a regular disposable plastic bottle. While Ambani's water preferences remain unverified, the claim's photo was manipulated.

The misleading photo surfaced on 'Curly Tales' Instagram page, garnering substantial likes before being removed. Multiple websites and YouTube thumbnails also propagated this misleading narrative.

Reliance confirmed the falsity of the viral photo. Acqua di Cristallo Tributo a Modigliani is indeed one of the world's costliest waters, sold for $60,000 (around Rs 49 lakh) at an auction. Designed by Fernando Altamirano, it pays tribute to Amadeo Modigliani's art.

The morphed image, originally depicting Ambani with Aquafina, falsely associates her with the pricey water.
