According to Saudi authorities, the Eid moon was not visible in Saudi Arabia on April 30, 2022. As a result, Muslims there will now celebrate Eid on May 2, 2022, following the end of Ramadan. As the date of Eid-ul-Fitr in Saudi Arabia and other Western countries has been announced for May 2, countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and other neighbouring countries in the same time zone will celebrate the holy festival on May 3. Ramadan lasts around 720 hours. During this period, Muslims are required to fast during the daytime. To break the fast, they eat their first meal, sehri, before sunrise and their last meal, iftar, after sunset.
