  1. Fashion, for me, is what makes me feel comfortable. One needs to feel comfortable in what they wear in order to look fashionable.
  2. Brands don’t really matter. If the clothes look nice and fit nice, pick them up.
  3. Accessorise! This is very important for any girl to look fashionable. You can do it with shoes, belts or rings. Accessorise right to highlight the clothes.
  4. Mix and match. This is the basic rule. Don’t stick to the usual dressing norms. Add colours, contrast them, and throw together different styles.
  5. I prefer wearing shorts and skirts, rather than denims, as I feel more comfortable in them. Denims are not my favourite.
  6. I prefer wearing shorts in the sunny weather. Heavy fabrics are strictly to be avoided during summer.
  7. Black and blue denims are not fashionable anymore. Bright, coloured denims are very ‘in’ now. Choose the colours according to your skin tone.
  8. Try and pick up stuff during your travels. I always find street shopping in Goa to be a great experience. Goa is one great place to look out for nice clothes.
  9. My favourite designers are Manish Malhotra, Manish Arora and Rocky S, simply because the clothes they make are very special and they use embroidery on the clothes which are exquisite.
  10. For college goers, while accessorising is important, do remember to keep the look simple and clean.
