Everyone in Hollywood wasn't lucky enough to be there in person like Elton John and the Beckhams, but plenty of stars stateside were equally riveted by the royal wedding Friday morning.
Dozens of celebrities took to Twitter to offer colourful commentaries as they watched Prince William and Kate Middleton wed at Westminster Abbey in London.
Justin Bieber offered up a simple "congrats to William and Kate" while Kelly Ripa was fascinated by the beauty of Middletown and her sister.
"Kate Middleton is stunning! Bridal party stunning!!! Pippa!!! Stunning! Modern day Grace Kelly! Loooooove it!" the New York Daily News quoted the talk show co-host as tweeting.
Some, like Stephen Colbert, invoked humour to poke fun at some of the crazed hullabaloo.
"At the Royal Wedding. Crap, I'm wearing the same thing as Camilla," he tweeted.
Paris Hilton tweeted: "Kate looked stunning in her beautiful gown. What an incredible wedding!"
"Why is everyone in such a tizzy about Princess Beatrice's hat at the Royal Wedding? I thought it was cute," wrote Nicky Hilton.
Many other celebs also reacted with their different views of the long-awaited day.
