Reading may not top the list of his to do things but nevertheless TV actor Ronit Roy is clear about his favourite book. “I am not an avid reader but I loved reading the book The Road Less Traveled. The book provided me with deep insight as to what life really is all about,” says Ronit. That said, Ronit can zero in on any one particular line or paragraph that he holds closest to his heart. “I liked the book in its entirety; it
made for a great read,” he explains.
And where movies are concerned, Ronit is quick to point out while he loves all genres of movies, Philadelphia and Forrest Gump stand out from the rest. “To be honest, I have many favourites but I guess Philadelphia comes first in the list. It has got a great story line and the characters have been fleshed out very well too. It’s been so long since I first watched that movie and I don’t even remember how old I was then. But I do know that the movie had made a profound impact on me,” he enthuses, adding that Forrest Gump comes a close second. “Forrest Gump is extremely heart-wrenching. Just like Philadelphia, this was a well made movie and it’s bound to touch you,” he ends.
