Model Candice Pinto spills her beauty tricks

What’s in your make-up bag?
Always NIVEA, a concealer, a lip tint and a mascara.

What’s your skincare routine?
I use a good skin cream and clean my face well before I sleep at night and apply a good night cream.

What’s your go-to beauty look for a red carpet event?
Depends on my attire but a thick liner and red/pink mouth is the best!

What do you think is sexy, beauty-wise?

Less make-up is more sexy. Keep it clean and elegant!

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve tried in the name of beauty?
So much it’s unreal — from black lips to mud packs on my face. I keep doing that during every fashion week but it’s fun as long as it doesn’t ruin your skin!

What product do you turn to for a beauty boost?

Neutrogena make-up remover as well as L’Oréal. Apart from that, a good baby oil.

What is your monsoon must-have beauty product?

Face wipes and a good face cream.

Do you have a signature fragrance? Where do you like to spray it?

Many... Tom Ford and Lolita Lempicka. I use it all over.

Your fave lipwear, mascara, and compact and foundation ...
From MAC and L’Oréal to Bobbi Brown — I love them all.

Do you gravitate toward a lip colour and if so, which shade?
It’s going to be Ambika Pillai, she has the most amazing red and coral lip colours.

What’s your favourite beauty moment?
When someone’s doing my face massage before applying foundation!

Are you good at applying your own make-up?

Yes, I’m good at it as I know my face better and love experimenting with different things too.

What’s your ultimate beauty tip?
Take good care and drink a lot of water.

What’s the best beauty advice you’ve ever received?
I have really good skin and anything I do looks good on me. I thank my parents.

One beauty elixir you can’t live without.
My face NIVEA cream.

Your secret beauty trick...
Apply a good concealer before you step out.
