Actress-turned-presenter Jane Fonda bought her 'perfect smile' by paying £34,375 and she forfeited a new car to pay for the dental work.
The 73-year-old has spent the chunk to maintain her good looks and admitted that her new teeth were the same price as a luxury sports car.
"See these teeth? They cost $55,000. It was teeth or a new car - and I opted for the teeth. That's what I mean by good genes and money. It costs a lot to look the way I do, although the genes cost nothing," the Daily Express quoted her as telling the Daily Mail.
"I owe 30% to my genes, 30% good sex, 30% are because of sports and healthy lifestyle with proper nutrition and for the remaining 10% I've to thank my plastic surgeon," she added.
