Art of Living founder tells his devotees in Gandhidham; this was yoga guru’s first visit to Kutch.

“Make your heart a factory of love, let there be an ice factory in your head and let your tongue be a sugar factory” — this was the Diwali message from the Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravishankar to his spellbound audience at port town Gandhidham.

The yoga guru, on his maiden visit to the border district Kutch, urged people to forsake hatred and ill-will to lead a happy life.
In the course of his hour-long Satsang, Shri Shri, donning traditional Kutchi attire, demonstrated Gyan, Dhayan and Gaan of Sudarshan yoga technique. The audience acknowledged it rousingly as he explained the threes steps.

Gyan induced thousands present in the gathering to dance and sing to the tunes of spiritual songs and melodious instrumental music.

The audience was hysterical as Sri Sri walked, sang and danced. Early on, he shared a real life incident wherein a lady did not get along well with her mother-in-law. Sri Sri advised her to obey every instruction, no matter right or wrong of her mother-in-law. The lady did accordingly and there was a miraculous change in the latter’s behaviour.

He observed that such an attitude combined with regular practice of Gyan, Dhayan and Gaan would make one’s life blissful.
He added that to leave hatred and ill-will behind in order to be friendly to everyone is at the heart of the Art of Living or Sudharshan technique.

At the end of the Satsang, Shri Sri urged the audience to resolve and give a sincere promise to him that they would not indulge in corruption, that they would not touch wine, not approve of female foeticide and use plastic least as well as eat only organic things.
Six organizations, including Kandla Port Trust and IFFCO had organised this visit.
