From a deliciously, creamy sponge cake soaked in three different kinds of milk to a decadent Banoffee Cronut to a tangy Lemon tart. Here are a few desserts that should be on your must-try list

In Madonna's words Blueberry cheesecake is better than sex! We would like to extend that to cover a range of desserts that are simply irresistible. Listed below are some that promise a sugar rush and deliver on all accounts.

Kahlua Mousse at the Zodiac Grill
Zodiac Grill’s signature Kahlua Mousse is a decadent creation of sinful proportions with just the right balance of dark chocolate and Kahlua.
AT: Zodiac Grill – The Taj Mahal Palace, Colaba

Tres Leches at Sancho's
This one literally takes the cake and the icing on top. A creamy sponge sits tall while a milky wave surrounds it. The server informer us that the Tres Leches is unique as the sponge is soaked overnight in three different types of milk to create this deliciously sweet dessert that begs to be shared.
At: Sancho's Restaurante & Cantina, Pinnacle House, plot no 604, ground floor, PD Hinduja Road, 15 Road, Khar (W)

Banoffee Cronut at Colaba Social
You get the best of both worlds in one plate. Banoffee, a classic English dessert and cronut a combo of a croissant and a doughnut come together beautifully to give you a flaky sweet pastry that's topped with a gooey, rich caramel sauce that has banana slices playing peek-a-boo revealing their identity one bite at a time.
AT: Colaba Social, 24, Ground Floor, Glen Rose Building, BK Boman Behram Marg, Apollo Bunder, Colaba

Pistachio Macaroons at Le 15 Patisserie
One of the first places in the city to introduce this French confection, Le 15 Patisserie still doles out the best macaroons in town. We love the sea salt and pistachio flavours, and actually know someone who makes a trip to town just to pick up a box of these deliciously light, sweet treats.
At: Le 15 Patisserie outlets in the city

Lemon tart at Theobroma
If you are craving for a sweet yet tangy dessert, Theobroma's lemon tart should be your treat for the day. It's melt in your mouth consistency, leaves you in seventh heaven as your taste buds revel in the sweet, tangy medley that ensues as you take a bite.
AT: Theobroma outlets across the city

Seven-Textured Hazelnut and Chocolate Cake
This one is a chocoholic's dream come true and an interplay of different textures. Crisp, frozen, gooey, crumbly and melted liquid chocolate all come together in one dessert. You get to over-indulge your sweet tooth and have chocolate in different forms - fondant, brownie, sponge and chocolate discs. And if that does not do you in, the sight of hot chocolate dripping down melting all the layers as it flows on will definitely test your will.
