To put this in perspective, it amounts to over 2 lakh Indian rupees or more than 2400 US Dollars. This extravagant price tag has catapulted Sushi Kirimon into a league of its own, surpassing the previous record set in 2010 by chef Angelito Araneta Jr. The earlier record involved five nigiri pieces bedecked with diamonds and adorned with 24-karat gold leaf, which commanded a hefty cost of 91,800 Philippine Pesos. Adjusted for current conversion rates, this is equivalent to more than INR 1,35,000.
How to make sushi:
