To ensure that your kids have a rollicking time during the summer holidays, huge spacious houses have been created especially for cartoon characters such as Doraemon, Hello Kitty, Garfield and Archie’s at a city mall.
Inside each house, there are different games set up depending on the characteristics of the toons. For example, lazy Garfield has a golf game inside the house, the Archie house has a dart board game and the Hello Kitty house has a ring throwing game.
The purpose of this activity is to allow kids to have some fun along with some education. Nirzar Jain, the organiser of this activity, informs, “We are also trying to subtly tell kids to be aware about the environment they live in. The character Doraemon will be there along with his five friends Nobita, Suneo, Dekisugi and Shizuka spreading awareness about being eco-friendly. He will highlight topics such as cycling to school, saving water, saving electricity and controlling noise pollution.”
Other workshops include learning to make paper bags out of old newspapers and having fun with basic mathematics. Kids can also enjoy the summer carnival summer carnival with more workshops on singing, salsa, book reading, yoga, flameless cooking and art and crafts.
Toon World Summer Carnival is on at Oberoi Mall till May 30.
