Distinct from artificial intelligence, artificial general intelligence refers to AIs that display open-ended learning and similar competency levels to human beings.

It's is the high-fidelity preservation of the human body, and particularly the brain, after death, in anticipation of possible future revival.

Virtual reality

Reality simulations that will become so high-resolution that it will be indistinguishable from the real thing. Simulations will become the preferred environments for work and play.

Gene Therapy/RNA Interference

It is the ability to manipulate our own genetic code. Gene therapy replaces bad genes with good genes, and RNA interference can selectively knock out gene expression.

Space Colonisation

The embrace of transhumanism will be necessary to colonise space to deal with the population expansion. Human beings aren’t designed to live in space so the only solution is to upgrade our bodies, cosmosform ourselves.

Cybernetics

The study of communication and control processes in biological, mechanical, and electronic systems. A cyborg- an organism that has enhanced abilities due to technology- is called an cybernetic organism.

Molecular Manufacturing

Molecular nano technology would use massive arrays of nanometer-scale actuators (produced initially through self-replication) to manufacture macro scale products with atomic precision. This concept is known as the nano factory.

Mind Uploading

Sometimes referred to as non-biological intelligence, it centers around the proposition that a conscious mind from a brain can be copied or transferred to a non-biological substrate (a computer system or another computational device).
