10 men loot cash, goods worth Rs2.5 lakhs from industrial estate

Ten unidentified armed persons looted cash and goods worth Rs2.5 lakh from an industrial estate in suburban Andheri, police said today.
The incident took place last afternoon when 10-12 men entered the Paper Box Estate Mahal in the industrial area with knives and revovlers and looted Rs2.29 lakh cash, a three wheeler tempo worth Rs29,000 and a mobile phone worth Rs500, the police complaint said.
The accused tied watchman Aabaji Gaikwad with a rope and looted cash from the locker of a company named Rambo Travels and Jet Speed Logistics in the industrial area, police said. The robbers fled the scene after the incident and a search has been launched to bab the culprits, they said adding further investigations are on.
