A 28-year-old man employed with the Merchant Navy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in suburban Jogeshwari, police said today.Samith Lad ended his life last night by hanging himself to a ceiling fan using a rope when he was alone at his home in Sangli Vaibhav Society, they said.According to police, the deceased, who was pursuing his MBA had appeared for two papers and wanted to go to either America or England to study the same course.However, the family members said there were no signs of depression in Samith. No suicide note was found, police said adding the reason for the extreme step was not yet known. Over 20 suicides, mostly by students have been reported in the city this month.
