Anger is in the air. At least the frequent fights in flights since the beginning of 2010 seem to suggest that.

In a Kingfisher flight on Friday, a film actor flew off the handle and got into a scrap with a female passenger.

The woman and the actor lodged cross non-cognisable complaints against each other and Kumar was sent for medical examination to find if he was under the influence of alcohol.

A drama unfolded on flight IT 310 Delhi-Mumbai of Kingfisher Airlines, as the actor tried to get cosy with a female passenger, Manisha (name changed), in a seat before him. Incidentally, this is the fifth case of fracas in the sky in the past 10 days.

A source from the airline said: “After the flight took off from Delhi, Kumar tried to get cosy with the woman who objected to his advances. This was followed by a heated argument between the two and they sat quietly for the rest of the time. The pilot had informed the airline about the incident. While getting off the plane, an argument again started between Kumar and Manisha and in a fit of rage, he slapped her.”

Manisha then filed a complaint with the Santa Cruz airport police. Later, even Kumar lodged a cross-complaint against her. DCP Brijesh Singh (Zone-8) has confirmed the cross-complaints.

Inder Kumar recently  acted in Salman Khan-starrer Wanted and Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye and had debuted in Ghoonghat.  He had also undergone a drug rehab programme.
