The supplier brought the firearms in a bag from Mansor in Madhya Pradesh to deliver them to a group in Mumbai, they said adding the weapons were supposed to be delivered during the election period.

Acting on a tip-off, police laid a trap near Maratha Mandir theatre at Mumbai Central area when the accused identified as Sultan Sattar Mirashi (19) arrived there last night carrying firearms, joint Police commissioner Rakesh Maria said.
