An auto-rickshaw driver allegedly abducted and raped a 28-year-woman, hailing from Satna in Madhya Pradesh, yesterday.
According to the police, the woman, feeling unwell and suffering from fever, was lying in the waiting room at Itwari Railway station in the city.
Mohammad Jafar Javed, 40, a rickshaw driver, spotted her and asked her to come with him, saying that some people were after her.
He allegedly took her to an unknown place and raped her, she told the police, following which he was arrested, police said today.
