Bangalore-bound FedEx flight makes emergency landing in Mumbai
'Full emergency was declared for FedEx flight 5062 from Dubai to Bangalore, which was diverted to Mumbai due to suspected fire in the cargo hold,' a Mumbai Airport spokesperson said.
A Bangalore-bound FedEx flight from Dubai made an emergency landing here this evening after it was diverted to the city airport following suspected fire in the plane's cargo-hold, an airport official said.
The flight landed here safely, the official said.
"Full emergency was declared for FedEx flight 5062 from Dubai to Bangalore, which was diverted to Mumbai due to suspected fire in the cargo hold," a Mumbai Airport spokesperson said here.
The flight landed safely at 18.24pm, the spokesperson added.
