BJP president Amit Shah arrives in Mumbai for the party’s Foundation Day rally to be held at BKC on Friday

Amit Shah is expected to address over five lakh party workers today

With NDA allies deserting the party and opposition unity slowly becoming a reality, BJP seems charged to flex its political muscles on its foundation day. A mega show has been organised in Mumbai on Friday which will be addressed by National President Amit Shah and other leading lights of the party.

Shah is expected to take on rivals and spell out BJP’s grand strategy ahead of crucial national polls and state polls in Maharashtra and other important states. Party has consciously chosen the financial capital for its big poll push ahead of 2019 election. Mumbai incidentally happens to be the place where the party made its transition from being part of the Janata Party family to forming the BJP.

Shah  will put up a strong argument in defence of Modi government’s move to unveil a new development model for the country for the benefit of all the sections of the society.

BJP President will also take the opportunity to once again reassure the Dalit community that Central government would neither scrap the policy of reservation for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities in education and jobs nor allow anyone to do so. He will step up attack against Congress for painting BJP anti- Dalit making it amply clear that BJP is resolved to fulfil their aspirations and dreams.

Notwithstanding party’s drubbing in the recent by-elections, Shah will call upon the party rank and file to concentrate on further strengthening the organisation.
