The CD of a 30-second commercial, featuring Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar's appeal for water conservation was today released by Mumbai mayor Shraddha Jadhav. The ad is to be screened on TV channels and in multiplexes.The commercial has been prepared as part of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC's) `Save Water Campaign' to sensitise Mumbaikars about using water judiciously in these times of acute shortage.In the ad, Tendulkar, dressed in cricket gear, talks about saving water, in both Hindi and Marathi. The message in Marathi is, ‘Paani wachwa, Mumbai wachwa’, while in Hindi the message says, ‘Paani ki raksha, Mumbai ki suraksha’.
