BoM to open 14 ATMs in rural areas

Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) has planned to open 14 automated teller machines (ATMs) in rural areas of Pune district.

This was announced by the assistant general manager (Pune East) of BoM, Vinayak Hatwalne, during the third foundation day celebrations of the Fatimanagar branch recently.

At present, BoM has ATM service in 26 branches in rural parts of the district functioning under East Pune. Another 14 branches will have the ATM facility soon.

"This will help rural customers to access the ATM services in their areas,'' said Hatwalne.

Hatwalne praised the customers and said they are brand ambassadors and the bank would continue to serve them in the best possible manner.

While talking about Fatimanagar branch, Manish Sane, branch manager, said, "We have 3,000 customers and have done a business of about Rs38 crore so far ever since this branch came into existence.''

Sane praised the staff of the branch for their hard work and devotion towards work.
