After verifying the additional documents submitted by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), the court of chief judicial magistrate NT Ghadge reserved its order on the case filed against Lavasa Corporation Ltd on Thursday.
The court will announce its orders — on separate pleas by the Rashtriya Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jan Sanghatna president, Hemant Patil to make him co-complainant, and farmer Dnyaneshwar Shedge’s request to make him a witness — on November 23 along with the Lavasa case.
On directions from the court, the MPCB filed additional documents pertaining to annual reports of 2004-05 and 2009-10 and the correspondence between the MPCB and Lavasa Corporation regarding permission for the hill station project.
The MPCB filed a private criminal complaint against Lavasa on November 4 for violation of the Environment Protection Act, 1986.
