Registering strong growth over the previous three quarters, your favourite daily has reached a new high of 16.77 lakh readers across its six editions.

The India growth story may have slowed a bit with economic uncertainty in Europe and policy paralysis back home, but the DNA growth story continues unabated.

Registering strong growth over the previous three quarters, your favourite daily has reached a new high of 16.77 lakh readers across its six editions. In Mumbai alone, DNA added more than 94,000 readers in the third quarter of the current calendar year to retain second spot among broadsheet dailies in the city.

Since its launch in July 2005 in the wake of unprecedented rain and floods in Mumbai, DNA has set a scorching pace, growing by over 94% over the past six years. This makes it the fastest growing English language daily across India.

DNA is also the fastest growing English language daily in Bangalore, where the paper added 23,000 readers over the previous two quarters to consolidate third place among broadsheet dailies.

As many as 46% of DNA readers, or close to half the newspaper’s readers, do not read any other English daily, suggesting a high level of loyalty to and satisfaction with the product.

In Mumbai, the paper has been broadening its appeal among the decision-making segments of society, with 27,000 of its 94,000 new readers (nearly 28%) coming from the premium SEC (socio-economic classification) A1 category. Also, three out of every four DNA readers belong to the SEC A or SEC B category.

None of this would have been possible without your strong support, dear reader.
