Doctor’s house burgled in Pune

Jewellery valued at Rs2 lakh stolen.

 

A homeopathic doctor was robbed of her gold jewellry, valued at Rs2 lakh by unidentified persons.

Dr Mrunal Ashish Nerlikar (42), a resident of Sankul Housing Society, next to the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Erandwane, lodged a complaint with the Kothrud police station on Wednesday.  Nerlikar is a faculty professor at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Homeopathy College. 

In her complaint, Nerlikar stated that she keeps her gold ornaments in her cupboard. After returning home from her vacation on November 3, she discovered that the jewellery was missing.  

The police suspect that the crime was committed by a person who knew about the whereabouts of the valuables.
