Maharashtra’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has seized illegal drugs worth Rs 2.5 lakh during raids at a wholesale godown-cum-clinic of an NGO, Doctors Without Borders, in the Govandi area.
The seized drugs are for TB, HIV and of some other ailments and they do not have a Maximum Retail Price (MRP) marking on them. Amurt Nikhade, FDA’s Joint Commissioner (H.Q), said,
